The women she paints are so beautiful and elegant. Also, she paints of wood panels and lets most of the food grain show through creating an interesting backdrop for her artwork.

Project 1: Postcards

Project 1 incorporated the use of Illustrator to create 4 visually similar postcards. I drew inspiration from my love of nautical themes and ocean conservation. During the creation process I found that using a drawing tablet was a great help. I also learned that ultra complicated images can create lots of trouble while printing. I went through quite the mental breakdown while trying to get my postcards printed. Ultimately I learned that spending tons of money on ink cartridges and doing it yourself if the best way to go.

Eduardo Recife

Eduardo Recife [Misprinted Type] is a freelance art director, graphic designer and illustrator. He has made images for The New York Times, Burton, and the band Panic at the Disco.

Teis Albers

Teis Albers [Hypnoteis / Graphic Design and Multimedia Action] is a freelance Graphic Designer. His work combines illustration, photo manipulation and typography. He creates many visually appealing advertisements and promotional images.

Jared Connor

Jared Connor [Mexican Chocolate Design] is another gig poster designer. He has created works for many bands but my favorites, by far, are for the band The Mars Volta. The collage style is very appealing and it reflects the band extremely well.

Lonny Unitus

Lonny Unitus is an artist from the Twin Cities, who primarily designs gig posters. Some of which are for the bluegrass band from Duluth, Trampled By Turtles. I love his rustic style and his common use of the owl symbol.
